Creating art during the Stolen Hours
Stolen Hours Studio was born in the in between moments of everyday life as a mum. For me this means creating when during nap times, after bed time or when the little ones are happy to watch me paint.
My Story
I am a New Zealand-based artist and mum, creating textured artwork whenever I can steal some time. My work is intuitive and hands-on, built up slowly through layers of acrylic paint, movement and texture. No two pieces are ever the same.
These works are made for your home, spaces that are lived in, loved and constantly evolving. Each piece carries the marks of process, patience and imperfect timing, created around life rather than away from it.
Stolen Hours Studio is a reminder that creativity doesn't need perfect conditions to flourish, it just needs a moment, and the passion to use it.
